IOCL Apprentice recruitment 2026: The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has started the online registration process for 405 Apprentice vacancies under its Marketing Division – Western Region. Through this recruitment drive, IOCL will fill 405 apprentice positions across different disciplines. IOCL Apprentice recruitment 2026: Eligibility criteria
Candidates must meet the required educational qualifications depending on the post they are applying for.Technician Apprentice
- Candidates must have a three-year full-time diploma in the relevant engineering discipline with at least 50% marks. For reserved category candidates, the minimum required marks are 45%.
Trade Apprentice
- Applicants should have Matriculation (Class 10) along with a two-year Industrial Training Institute (ITI) course in the relevant trade. The ITI qualification must be recognised by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or the State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).
Graduate Apprentice
- Candidates must hold a full-time bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university with the required minimum marks.
Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator
- Candidates must have passed Class 12. For the skilled category, an additional skill certification may also be required.
All qualifications must be obtained from a recognised institute or university through regular full-time mode.
IOCL Apprentice recruitment 2026: Age limit
Candidates applying for the apprenticeship must be between 18 and 24 years of age as on February 28, 2026. Age relaxation will be provided according to government rules.
IOCL Apprentice recruitment 2026: Selection process
The selection of candidates will be based purely on merit.There will be no written examination and no interview. The merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the required educational qualification.Candidates who are shortlisted will be called for document verification and a pre-engagement medical examination and the apprenticeship training period will be 12 months.
