Bata Dividend 2026, Bata Q1 Results FY27: Bata India on Tuesday (August 11) announced its Q1 results for financial year 2026-27. The leading shoemaker declared an interim dividend of Rs 25 per share, amounting to Rs 321.3 crore. The Rs 25 interim dividend equals a 500% payout on the Rs 5 face-value share. Notably, the company has fixed the record date for the payout eligibility.

“The Board at the Meeting declared an Interim Dividend of Rs. 25/- (500%) per equity share of Rs. 5/- each, fully paid-up of the Company, for the current financial year ending March 31, 2027,” the company said in its exchange filing.
“Bata Board also announced an interim dividend of Rs. 25 per share, amounting to Rs. 3,213 million,” the filing added.
Bata has set August 19, 2026 as the record date for the cash reward eligibility.
“…the Record date shall be Wednesday, August 19, 2026 for the purpose of Interim Dividend,” the filing said
The company has also announced the timeline for the payment of dividend.
“Dividend on Equity Shares, shall be paid from Wednesday, September 2, 2026 onwards to those Members who are entitled thereto,” the filing added.
Bata India Q1 Results FY27
Bata India reported a 23 per cent on-year increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 63.98 crore in the June quarter, helped by operational efficiency, disciplined cost management and sharper execution across channels.
It had posted a net profit of Rs 52 crore in the previous April-June quarter a year ago.
Bata’s revenue from operations was up 4 per cent to Rs 978.95 crore in the June quarter of FY27, helped by premiumisation and volume growth.
“Topline growth was driven by Average Selling Price (ASP) with margin expansion,” Bata said in its earnings statement.
Moreover, “continued focus on operational efficiency, disciplined cost management and sharper execution across channels” helped to lift profits.
Its total expenses in the June quarter were at Rs 911.08 crore, up 3 per cent on a year-on-year basis.
“The Profit before taxes, excluding one-offs for the quarter, stood at Rs 90.6 crore, up by over 22 per cent, as against Rs 74.5 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. One-offs for the quarter include non-cash forex loss on license fees amounting to Rs 2.7 crore owing to continued currency devaluation and one-time ERP implementation cost of Rs 2.4 crore,” it said.
Bata India’s total income, which includes other income, was up 4 per cent to Rs 997 crore.
On Tuesday (August 11), the stock closed at Rs 699, down 1.94 per cent from its previous closing, on NSE.
