The firm reported a 23.1% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to ₹64 crore for the quarter ended June 2026, compared with ₹52 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Revenue from operations increased 3.9% YoY to ₹979 crore from ₹942 crore in Q1 FY26. Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) rose 2.6% to ₹204 crore, compared with ₹199 crore in the year-ago period.
The EBITDA margin stood at 20.8% in the June quarter, against 21.1% in the same period last year.
Bata declares ₹25 dividend
The company’s board has declared an interim dividend of ₹25 per equity share of face value ₹5 each for FY27. This translates into a dividend of 500% of the face value.
The record date for determining shareholders eligible for the interim dividend has been fixed as August 19, 2026.
The dividend will be paid from September 2, 2026 onwards to members who are eligible to receive it.
Ahead of the earnings announcement, Bata India shares closed 1.94% lower at ₹699 on the NSE on Tuesday.
