The development marks a key milestone in unlocking a 39-acre township in the Whitefield–Sarjapur corridor, one of Bengaluru’s key residential growth hubs.
The proposed project, primarily planned as a large-scale residential township, has an estimated gross development value (GDV) of around ₹7,200 crore, according to the company’s exchange filing.
The broader land parcel is being assembled through a mix of outright purchases and joint development agreements, with the latest JDA acting as a trigger for advancing the master-planned development.
Commenting on the development, Managing Director Pavitra Shankar said the Whitefield–Sarjapur stretch continues to see strong demand driven by infrastructure expansion, connectivity and proximity to employment hubs.
She added, “The signing of this JDA is an important milestone that strengthens our residential pipeline in East Bengaluru and enables us to move forward with a large, integrated township development.”
Shankar also said that the company aims to create a cohesive, future-ready residential ecosystem, “With multi-generational residential offerings—including senior living spaces—supported by thoughtfully planned amenities and convenience infrastructure.”
Shares of Brigade Enterprises closed 0.58% lower at ₹741, ahead of the announcement on Wednesday. The stock has gained nearly 14% over the last month.
