Shares of Shakti Pumps are trading with gains of 9.5% on Thursday, marking the biggest single-day gain of 2026 for the stock. The last instance of the stock gaining by such a quantum was back in December 2025.
The company received a Letter of Empanelment from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd. (MSEDCL) for 10,000 off-grid Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS) pumps of 3, 5, and 7.5 Horse Power for the entire state of Maharashtra.
This will be accommodated under the state’s Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana and the total value is ordered at ₹236 crore. This order will be executed within 60 days of getting the work order.
Shares of Shakti Pumps entered the month of September on the back of two straight months of losses and is still down nearly 30% so far this year. The stock had declined 33% in 2025 as well.
Dilip Buildcon shares gained over 7% on Thursday, marking their biggest single-day gain in two months.
The company said in an exchange filing that it has been selected as the successful bidder for the authorization of laying, building, operating and expanding the LPG pipeline from Paradip in Odisha to Raipur in Chhattisgarh. The order was given by the PNGRB.
Dilip Buildcon has been given an exclusive license by the PNGRB to act as the authorized entity for the development of this pipeline for the transportation of LPG, including financing, construction and operation of the same and to also collect tariff for transportation of LPG for a 25-year period, after the construction period of three eyears.The project will be implemented through a Special Purpose Vehicles (SPV) in which Dilip Buildcon will hold 100% stake. The EPS works are valued at nearly ₹1,800 crore, and will be executed over a three-year period.
Shares of Dilip Buildcon had also declined in the months of July and August and are still down around 11% for the year so far.
IRB Infra’s shares gained as much as 6.5% on Thursday in response to its business update for the month of August, under which, the toll collection revenue went up by 25% from last year.
The company’s management also said that with the upcoming festive season, the traffic is likely to remain higher and will contribute to the company’s business momentum going forward.
Shares of IRB Infra have gained only in five sessions during the last five weeks, having declined in both July as well as August. The stock is still down 6% so far this year.
