Capacite Infra gets Letter of Intent for ₹589 crore order from Raymond Realty arm

Capacite Infraprojects Ltd. on Wednesday, June 3, said it has secured an order worth ₹589 crore from a subsidiary of Raymond Realty Ltd.

The company, in a stock exchange filing, said, it received a letter of intent (LoI) from the Raymond Realty subsidiary Ten X Realty East Ltd. for the civil core and shell works for the project – The Address by GS’ in Wadala, Mumbai.

Capacite Infra’s managing director Rahul Katyal said the same was a repeat order for the company. “This repeat mandate is a strong endorsement of our long-standing partnership and a clear reflection of the trust our clients place in our execution capabilities,” Katyal said.

In February this year, Capacite Infra had received another letter of intent from Raymond Realty for a contract value of ₹537 crore for projects in Thane.

The orders were for the construction of ‘Towers F, G and NTA’ and a retail building in the projects of ‘Address by GS-3’ and ‘Invictus-2’ in Thane, the company had said.

Earlier that month, it had received another letter of intent from Great Value Realty Ltd. for a contract value of ₹445 crore for the civil and structural works of the Great Value Ekanam Project in Sector 107, Noida.

Shares of Capacite Infraprojects Ltd. were volatile in trade on Wednesday. After opening lower, the stock surged 2.5% around 12 pm to hit an intraday high of ₹229 per share. However, it later pared its gains and was trading 0.6% lower at ₹221.9 apiece around 2 pm.

The stock has declined 11% in the past month, 13.8% this year, so far, and is down 33% in the last 12 months.
