The civil engineering company said the project carries annual transmission charges of ₹6,086.70 million, or ₹608.67 crore, for a period of 35 years.
Shares of Ceigall India have been on a four-day gaining streak, advancing about 9% during the period.
The project, awarded through tariff-based global competitive bidding and an e-reverse auction, involves setting up a common transmission system for evacuation of power from Lakadia Phase-II (7.5 GW), Jam Khambhaliya Phase-II (5.5 GW) and Jamnagar Phase-I (1 GW).
The scope includes a 765/400 kV air-insulated substation (AIS) and around 300 km of transmission lines across Gujarat and Maharashtra, as per the filing.
The execution period for the project is 36 months, while the operational period is 35 years from the scheduled commissioning date.

The project was awarded by RECPDCL, a domestic entity, as part of the selection process for a transmission service provider under a tariff-based competitive bidding framework.
The company said the contract does not fall under related-party transactions and that neither the promoter, promoter group nor group companies have any interest in the entity awarding the project.The transmission system is aimed at supporting power evacuation from the identified generation regions and strengthening the inter-state transmission network.
Shares of Ceigall India rose as much as 6.5% intraday to ₹345.35 on Wednesday. The stock was trading about 5% up at ₹340.75 as of 2.14 pm. It has gained 0.74% over the past month and is up around 25% so far this year.
Ceigall India Frontier Highway Order
Ceigall India has received a ₹704.70 crore road construction order from the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) for a section of the Frontier Highway in Arunachal Pradesh, according to a company exchange filing dated August 25, 2026. The contract value excludes GST.
The project will be executed through a joint venture with Sushee Infra & Mining, in which Ceigall India will hold a 74% stake, while Sushee Infra will own the remaining 26%. The contract covers construction of an 82.4-km stretch of the Lada-Sarli section of NH-913, from km 85.60 to km 168.00, on an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis.
