When it comes to things about the supernatural, you are either a believer or a non-believer. ‘FRIENDS’ fame star Courteney Cox was also from the latter category, but then her Laurel Canyon abode changed her belief system. Carole King, the former owner of the house, told Cox about the haunting, but she didn’t believe her until one incident. “I was at the house one day, not being a believer. And the doorbell rang. It was a UPS guy or something, and I opened the door,” she told Jimmy Kimmel in 2022. Cox continued, “And he said, ‘Do you know this house is haunted?’ And I go, ‘Yeah, why? Why do you think that?’ He goes, ‘Because there is someone standing behind you.’” This incident shook the actress, and soon she sold the house. She told the show host that she couldn’t sleep alone in that house ever again.
