The contract value is ₹1,714 crore, excluding 18% GST, the company said. The order is to be executed within 12 months, according to the filing. HBL Engineering said the scope includes supply, installation, testing and commissioning of on-board Kavach locomotive equipment (Version 4.0).
Chittaranjan Locomotive Works has awarded the contract for a domestic project, and the company said none of the promoters has any interest in the transaction.

On Wednesday (May 27), shares of HBL Engineering Ltd had ended at ₹815, up by ₹15.85, or 1.98%, on the BSE.
