HEG Advanced Materials arm Replus Engitech gets ₹218 crore Indus Towers order

HEG gets NCLT nod for demerger; shareholders to receive 1:1 shares in HEG Graphite


Noida-based graphite electrode manufacturer HEG Advanced Materials Ltd (formerly HEG Limited) on Friday (September 18) said its subsidiary Replus Engitech Pvt Ltd has received orders from Indus Towers Ltd, formerly known as Bharti Infratel Ltd, for the supply of lithium-ion battery banks.

The orders are worth ₹217.56 crore, inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST). The orders have been awarded by a domestic entity and are to be executed on or before March 31, 2027. The deadline may be extended if mutually agreed between the parties.

The terms and conditions of the orders are as per the general conditions specified in the purchase orders. HEG Advanced Materials said neither its promoter, promoter group, nor group companies have any interest in Indus Towers, the entity awarding the orders.

First Quarter Results

HEG posted a 16.7% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to ₹122.3 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared with ₹104.8 crore in the corresponding period last year. HEG’s revenue from operations rose 11.1% to ₹680.8 crore, up from ₹612.8 crore a year ago.

Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation (EBITDA) climbed 42.5% year-on-year to ₹150.6 crore. As a result, EBITDA margin expanded to 22.1% from 17.3% in the year-ago quarter. The company’s core graphite segment generated revenue of ₹677.7 crore, compared with ₹609 crore in Q1 FY26.

Meanwhile, the power segment contributed ₹3.1 crore in revenue, down from ₹3.8 crore a year earlier. Segment profit from the business stood at ₹1.1 crore, compared with ₹1.6 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Supported by stronger operating performance, total segment results from continuing operations nearly doubled to ₹149.8 crore, versus ₹75.3 crore in the year-ago period. HEG ended the June quarter with total assets of ₹6,333.97 crore, while total liabilities stood at ₹1,453.78 crore.

Shares of HEG Advanced Materials Ltd ended at ₹238.55, up by ₹11.35, or 5.00%, on the BSE.
