IndusInd Bank launches corporate credit card linked to OD and CC accounts

IndusInd Bank Q1 Update: Net advances decline 2%, deposits up 5% YoY


IndusInd Bank has launched a corporate credit card linked to customers’ existing overdraft (OD) and cash credit (CC) accounts, allowing businesses to use sanctioned working capital limits for card payments.

The bank said the card does not require a separate credit limit or billing cycle, with transactions drawing directly from the linked OD or CC account. The product is available to eligible IndusInd Bank business customers across India.

 

Card links business spending to working capital limits

The card allows businesses to make online and offline payments using their sanctioned OD or CC limits. IndusInd Bank said the arrangement is intended to simplify cash flow tracking and reduce manual reconciliation.

Cardholders can set or modify daily transaction limits, while businesses can use the card for routine expenses, vendor payments and other operational spending. The bank said the card also provides centralised expense management and transaction controls.

Commenting on the launch, Jagdeep Mallareddy, Executive Director at IndusInd Bank, said, “Businesses today, are looking for smarter, more integrated financial solutions that simplify operations, while offering greater control over cash flows.”

He added, “IndusInd Bank’s OD/CC linked Corporate Credit Card addresses this need by seamlessly extending the utility of sanctioned working capital limits into payments, driving higher operational efficiency for businesses.”

 

Available across major card networks

The card will be launched on the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) RuPay, Mastercard and Visa networks in India. Its product platform is powered by PropelGo Technologies.According to the bank, the card enables real-time utilisation of sanctioned OD and CC limits and combines business spending with existing working capital facilities.

IndusInd Bank said the product is now available to eligible business customers nationwide.

IndusInd Bank reported a 46.5% year-on-year rise in net profit to ₹1,002.5 crore for the June quarter, compared with ₹684 crore in the same period last year. Net interest income (NII) increased 1% year-on-year to ₹4,685 crore, while net interest margin (NIM) rose to 3.57% from 3.46% a year earlier. However, total income from operations declined to ₹6,471 crore from ₹6,797 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Shares of the lender were trading at ₹976.40, down 1.70%.
