PUNE: A purported video, widely shared across social media platforms, allegedly shows Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary seated together in the spectators’ stand during a cricket match.The two can be seen watching the game while interacting casually with each other.The clip has gone viral at a time when investigators are piecing together the nature and timeline of Siya and Chetan’s relationship, which police believe predates her engagement to Ketan Agarwal.According to the Pune police’s investigation, the relationship between Siya and Chetan first came to the notice of her family after the two were allegedly spotted together during a cricket match.Investigators have claimed that despite learning about the relationship, Siya’s family later proceeded with fixing her marriage to Ketan Agarwal, citing the Agarwal family’s financial standing.Police have questioned Siya’s parents and brother as part of the ongoing probe to understand what they knew about the relationship and the circumstances under which the marriage was arranged.The viral video has resurfaced amid a series of revelations made during the investigation.Police have alleged that Siya and Chetan remained in constant touch for months, exchanged nearly 2,000 phone calls and met frequently before Ketan’s death.Investigators further claim the duo planned the murder and made multiple failed attempts before allegedly pushing Ketan during a trek to Lohagad Fort on June 18.The case has also seen conflicting versions emerge from the two accused.While police say Siya and Chetan have begun blaming each other for planning the murder, investigators continue to analyse digital evidence, including deleted chats and call records, to establish the sequence of events.The investigation remains underway, with police examining fresh evidence and recording statements of those connected to the accused as they attempt to reconstruct the events leading up to Ketan Agarwal’s death.
