Societe Generale ODI bought 1.07 crore shares worth ₹688.92 crore in the transaction. The deal was executed at an average price of ₹641.75 per share.
CNBC-TV18 had earlier reported that SoftBank Vision Fund II Lightbulb Cayman was likely to sell up to a 2.6% stake in Lenskart for around $300 million. Sources had said the floor price for the transaction was set at ₹635 per share, a 4% discount to Lenskart’s previous closing price of ₹661.40.
The selling shareholder was also expected to have a 45-day lock-up on its remaining stake.
As of the end of the June quarter, promoter entities held an 18% stake in Lenskart, while public shareholders held 82%. SVF II Lightbulb Cayman held a 9.86% stake in the company.

June quarter performance
Lenskart reported a 43.3% year-on-year increase in revenue to ₹2,714.18 crore for the June quarter, compared with ₹1,894.46 crore a year earlier.Profit after tax rose to ₹228.43 crore from ₹61.17 crore in the year-ago period. EBITDA increased 75.1% to ₹588.48 crore, while the EBITDA margin expanded to 21.7% from 17.7%.Earlier this month, Lenskart shares crossed ₹600 for the first time.
