The official buyers and sellers are not yet known.
On Thursday, CNBC-TV18 reported, citing sources that Alphawave was likely to sell 1.2% stake in Lenskart Solutions for ₹1,313 crore. The floor price had been set at ₹630 per share.
The seller would be subject to a 45-day lock-up for any further stake sale.
At the end of the June quarter, promoter entities held 17.53% stake in Lenskart Solutions, while publich shareholding comprised 82%. Of this, Alpha Wave Ventures LP held 3.42% stake and Alpha Wave Ventures II LP held 1.22% stake, as per data available on the stock exchanges.
This is the second block deal in Lenskart in the past week.
On Monday, SVF II Lightbulb (Cayman) offloaded 5.4 crore shares of the company worth ₹2,887.9 in a block deal.
Societe Generale ODI bought 1.07 crore shares worth ₹688.92 crore and the deal was executed at an average price of ₹641.75 apiece.Prior to the block deal, CNBC-TV18 had reported that SVF II Lightbulb Cayman was set to sell up 2.6% stake in the firm for around $300 million. Sources had told CNBC-TV18 that the floor price was set at ₹635 apiece.
At the end of the first quarter SVF II Lightbulb Cayman held 9.86% stake in the company.
Shares of Lenskart Solutions were trading 0.2% up at ₹641.9 apiece at 9.55 am on Friday. The stock has gained 15.7% in the past month and is up 46.4% this year, so far.
