Shares of L&T Technology Services (LTTS) rose on Monday after the engineering services company inaugurated its AI-Native Engineering Intelligence (EI) Lab for Digital Manufacturing in Bengaluru.
The lab is designed to give customers and partners a hands-on experience of how AI-native manufacturing, digital twins and autonomous systems can work together across industrial lifecycles, the company said in a press release filed with the NSE.
Through live and scenario-based demonstrations, customers can explore applications ranging from digital engineering and virtual validation to connected production, intelligent operations and autonomous systems. The facility also demonstrates how these technologies can be integrated and scaled, LTTS said.
“AI is transforming how manufacturers design, simulate and operate the factories of the future,” said Vishal Dhupar, managing director for South Asia at NVIDIA.
The lab combines NVIDIA technologies spanning hardware, software and world models with LTTS’ engineering expertise, providing manufacturers with an environment to explore and validate AI-driven, simulation-first approaches to industrial transformation, Dhupar said.
LTTS said the facility is built around several capability areas, including manufacturing intelligence, AI-native factories, operations AI and autonomy, and its unified intelligence platform.
“The EI Lab for Manufacturing brings Engineering Intelligence into a tangible manufacturing environment, allowing customers to experience how engineering, AI and physical systems can come together to address real-world challenges,” said Amit Chadha, CEO and managing director of LTTS and a member of the NASSCOM Executive Council.
LTTS is a listed subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro.
Shares of LTTS closed at ₹3,305 on the NSE on October 12, up 1.07%, or ₹34.90, from the previous close.
