US service sector | US service sector activity expanded in June at a pace similar to the previous month, as price pressures eased slightly and employment returned to growth, according to the Institute for Supply Management. The ISM Services PMI came in at 54 for the month, down 0.5 points from May and slightly below the Dow Jones estimate of 54.3.
Cochin Shipyard OFS | The government on Monday (July 6) announced an Offer for Sale (OFS) in Cochin Shipyard Ltd, comprising a base offer of 2.52% of paid-up equity, with an additional 2.52% green-shoe option in case of oversubscription. The floor price for the issue has been fixed at ₹1,400 per share. The OFS will open for non-retail investors on July 7, 2026, while retail investors will be allowed to bid on July 8, 2026.
Trent | The Tata Group retailer reported a 19% year-on-year increase in standalone revenue for the June quarter, supported by continued expansion across its Westside and Zudio formats. Standalone revenue from operations, excluding GST, rose to ₹5,666 crore in the first quarter of FY27 from ₹4,781 crore a year earlier. Revenue from the sale of merchandise, excluding other operating income, also increased 19% during the quarter.
Titan Company | Leading branded jeweller maker reported a 41% year-on-year growth in its consumer businesses for Q1 FY27, driven by strong performance across jewellery, watches, eyecare and emerging segments, along with expansion in its retail network. The domestic business grew 37% YoY, supported by growth across jewellery, watches, eyecare and emerging businesses. Jewellery grew 39%, watches rose 23%, and eyecare increased 23%, while emerging businesses registered 19% growth during the quarter.
