PGIM India MF to reopen select transactions in global real estate FoF from Oct 8

PGIM India Asset Management has announced the reopening of select subscription transactions in its PGIM India Global Select Real Estate Securities Fund of Fund from October 8, after subscriptions to the scheme were temporarily suspended earlier this year.

Under the latest notice, investors will be able to make fresh and additional lump-sum purchases and switch into the fund from October 8.

Existing systematic investment plans (SIPs) in the scheme will also continue to be accepted.

However, fresh SIP and systematic transfer plan (STP) registrations, as well as existing STPs, will remain temporarily suspended, according to the notice dated September 29.

The fund had been among the PGIM India schemes affected by the temporary suspension of subscriptions announced in March 2026. The asset manager subsequently issued multiple notices between May and August regarding the reopening, revision and suspension of subscriptions in its global funds.

The latest move follows a June 17, 2022 letter from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), which allowed mutual funds to accept subscriptions and invest in overseas funds and securities up to the available headroom without breaching the overseas investment limits applicable at the mutual fund level as of February 1, 2022.

The PGIM India Global Select Real Estate Securities Fund of Fund invests in overseas real estate securities through a fund-of-fund structure. All other terms and conditions of the scheme’s Scheme Information Document and Key Information Memorandum remain unchanged, the notice said.
