Physicswallah share price: Analyst Anik Mitra sees 36-48% upside

Physicswallah Share Price Target: Physicswallah is not just an edtech growth story but also a profitability turnaround story, according to SEBI-registered research analyst Anik Mitra (RA Number: INH000023180). The analyst highlighted the company’s strong revenue and EBITDA growth in FY26, along with improving profitability in its offline business.

Mitra noted that Physicswallah’s revenue increased by 35 per cent to Rs 3,900 crore in FY26, while EBITDA increased nearly threefold to Rs 300 crore. The analyst also highlighted that the profitability of the offline business, which was previously loss-making, is steadily improving.

Physicswallah Share Price Target: AI products, premium courses support growth

According to Mitra, the share of Physicswallah’s online business is also increasing, while revenue per user (RPU) is improving with premium courses.

The analyst said AI products such as AI Guru, AI Grader and AI Tutor could create new revenue opportunities and help reduce costs in the future. The management has guided for 30 per cent top-line growth and expects the company to become EBITDA- and PAT-positive by FY27.

Physicswallah Share Price Target: Rs 170-185

Mitra, however, highlighted risks including intense competition in the edtech sector and the fact that offline profitability is not completely proven yet. The analyst added that the aggressive growth and margin targets for FY27 would depend on execution.

With the current market price around Rs 125, Mitra has set a target of Rs 170-185 for the next two quarters. This implies an upside potential of roughly 36-48 per cent from the current market price.

On Thursday (August 20), the stock closed at Rs 121.95, up 0.02 per cent from its previous closing, on NSE.
