RBSE announces Class 10 supplementary exam dates, second chance exams to begin May 14

RBSE Class 10 supplementary exam 2026 dates: The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has released the timetable for the Class 10 supplementary examinations for 2026. The exams will be conducted from May 14 to May 16 in a single morning session, scheduled between 8:30 AM and 11:45 AM.The supplementary examinations are intended for students who were unable to secure the minimum required 33 per cent marks in the main examinations held earlier. The schedule applies to secondary, vocational, Praveshika, and Children with Special Needs (CWSN) categories.Exam schedule and subject distributionAs per the official timetable, the examinations for regular candidates will begin on Thursday, May 14, 2026. The subjects to be conducted on the first day are Hindi (compulsory), English (compulsory), Sanskrit, Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi, Gujarati, Sanskrit (first paper), Agriculture Science, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and General Science.The next day to be conducted is Friday, 15th May 2026, in which students shall conduct the examinations for subjects such as Computer Science, Informatics Practices, Home Science, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, History, Business Studies, Accountancy, Mathematics, Drawing, and Music.Saturday, 16th May 2026, would comprise conducting examinations for vocational subjects like Automotive, Beauty & Wellness, Health Care, IT & ITES, Retail, Security, Agriculture, Electronics & Hardware, Plumbing, Telecom, Banking & Financial Services, Tourism, and others.

Schedule for secondary and vocational categoriesFor secondary, vocational, Praveshika, and CWSN students, the subject-wise schedule differs slightly.English (Compulsory) exam would take place on May 14, 2026. The subjects to appear on May 15, 2026, would include Hindi, Science, Social Science, Mathematics, third languages (Sanskrit, Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi, Gujarati), and Sanskrit First Paper.Vocational subjects, such as IT, Retail, Health Care, Automotive, Electronics, Security, Tourism, Banking, and Agriculture, would be examined on May 16, 2026.Context of supplementary examinationsSupplementary exams are scheduled after the declaration of Class 10 results that are announced on March 28, 2026. In the main examinations, 94.23 per cent of the 10,06,450 students who appeared were declared successful.Students who did not meet the minimum passing criteria in one or more subjects have been given this additional opportunity to qualify. Achieving the required marks in these exams will allow them to progress academically without losing a year.Candidate guidelinesThe board has provided certain guidelines for the candidates sitting for their supplementary exams. Candidates must follow the schedule of time and reporting at all times.If any alterations or modifications are made to the schedule, they will be conveyed through proper channels only. Arrangements have been made for special facilities for CWSN candidates in examination venues.Students are prohibited from carrying electronic devices, including mobile phones and smartwatches, inside the examination hall. Strict action will be taken in cases of unfair practices.Instructions issued by invigilators and school authorities should be carefully followed during the test session. The admit card related to supplementary examinations shall be distributed separately, and candidates are requested to keep in touch with their schools for more information on receipt of the same.
