The agreement for sale was entered into on August 19, 2026, which was also the expected date of completion of the sale.
The buyer, Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd, does not belong to the promoter, promoter group or group companies of The Ruby Mills. The company said the transaction does not constitute a related party transaction.

The property being sold is vacant commercial premises, and therefore details relating to its contribution to the company’s turnover, revenue, income and net worth are not applicable.
The sale is also outside any Scheme of Arrangement and is independent of any restructuring. The company said disclosures relating to a slump sale are not applicable.
Ruby Mills, a listed company, is into the manufacturing of cotton and blended fabrics and has its registered office at Dadar in central Mumbai.
