The pension fund manager said it now serves more than 1.85 crore subscribers across the central and state government, corporate and private sector NPS segments, as well as the Atal Pension Yojana (APY).
According to the company, its AUM stood at around ₹6.04 lakh crore as of June 30, 2026, giving it a market share of about 34% in the pension fund management industry.
SBI Pension Funds said its assets have expanded from ₹1 lakh crore in 2018 to over ₹6 lakh crore currently. Over the past 15 years, the company’s AUM has grown at a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of nearly 36%, it added.
Commenting on the milestone, Pranay Ranjan Dwivedi, Managing Director and CEO of SBI Pension Funds, said the growth reflects the trust of more than 1.85 crore subscribers who have entrusted the company with managing their retirement savings. He said the company will continue to focus on prudent investment management, governance standards and expanding retirement awareness.
Established in 2007, SBI Pension Funds is among the first pension fund managers appointed by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) under the National Pension System. It manages pension assets across government, corporate and retail NPS segments, along with the Atal Pension Yojana.
