Stock Market Live: In the previous trading session, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd surged to a closing price of 9050, marking a 2.61% gain. Hindalco Industries Ltd advanced to 1020, up 2.52%, while Trent Ltd increased to 3107.7, a rise of 1.89%. Jio Financial Services Ltd and ITC Ltd also saw modest gains, closing at 265 and 289, respectively. Conversely, Grasim Industries Ltd retreated sharply to 3138, down 3.74%. HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd slipped to 535.95, a decline of 3.10%, followed by Bajaj Auto Ltd at 11600, down 2.16%.
