Shriram Finance to raise fixed deposit interest rates from October 11


Shriram Finance has raised interest rates on its fixed deposits across different maturity periods, with the revised rates set to take effect from October 11, 2026, according to the company’s October 9 announcement.

For deposits of up to ₹10 crore, the interest rate on 12-month deposits has increased from 6.85% to 7% per annum. The rate on the 15-month deposit scheme, available only through digital channels, has been raised from 7.1% to 7.5%.

For tenures of 18-23 months, the rate has increased from 7.05% to 7.25%, while deposits with maturities of 24-35 months will now earn 7.5%, against the earlier 7.1%. The rate on deposits with tenures of 36-60 months has been increased from 7.5% to 7.85%.

Additional interest for eligible depositors

The company will continue to offer senior citizens aged 60 years and above an additional 0.50 percentage point per annum. Women depositors will receive an additional 0.05 percentage point, while customers renewing matured deposits will be eligible for an additional 0.15 percentage point.

Deposits can be made in multiples of ₹1,000, with a minimum investment of ₹5,000.

Fixed Investment Plan rates also revised

Shriram Finance has also revised rates under its Fixed Investment Plan (FIP), effective October 11, 2026. The rate for tenures of 12-23 months has increased from 6.85% to 7%, the rate for 24-35 months has risen from 7.1% to 7.5%, and the rate for 36-48 months has increased from 7.5% to 7.85%.

Women depositors will continue to receive an additional 0.05 percentage point per annum under the Fixed Investment Plan, while other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

Shriram Finance’s fixed deposits carry AAA ratings with stable outlooks from CRISIL Ratings, ICRA, India Ratings and Research, and CARE Ratings, according to the company.
