Avenue Supermarts | Q1 net profit up 11.3% year-on-year to ₹860.6 crore from ₹773 crore earlier. Revenue up 14.9% to ₹18,794 crore from ₹16,359 crore last year. EBITDA up 15.4% to ₹1,499 crore from ₹1,299 crore last year. EBITDA margin flat at 7.97% from 7.94%.
Just Dial | Slow growth continued for the company this quarter with revenue rising 0.5% sequentially and 6.3% from last year. Profit declined 15.2% quarter-on-quarter and 36.5% year-on-year due to lower other income due to mark-to-market losses on the treasury book. Base quarter also had an exceptional loss of ₹21.1 crore. Margins drop sequentially but steady year-on-year. Abhishek Bansal resigns as CFO.
LTM | Revenue was in-line with expectations with a 0.3% growth in constant currency terms. Margins increased by 40 basis points to 15.5%, higher than the estimate of 15.1%. US Dollar revenue up 0.1% from the previous quarter to $1,223.5 million. Financial services and tech services businesses grew by 3.2% and 3.4% respectively. The CEO said With a strong order book and healthy pipeline across our industry segments, we are confident that our growth momentum will continue to build through the year.
Oil Sensitives | Crude sensitives will be in focus yet again on Monday amidst reports of Iran shutting down the Strait of Hormuz one more time. The potential impact on crude oil prices once trading resumes will have a bearing on OMCs, ONGC, Oil India, Paint stocks, Tyre stocks and other crude sensitives as well.
