Shares of Tata Group companies fell by as much as 4 per cent on Wednesday (August 12), following the resignation of N Chandrasekaran as chairman of Tata Sons, ahead of the conglomerate’s Annual General Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, August 18.

The decline was led by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), the group’s most valuable listed company.
