These four stocks are in focus after order wins worth over ₹900 crore and drug approvals by USFDA


Shares of Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders, Texmaco Rail and Engineering, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) and Lupin are in focus on Monday, September 7, after the companies reported order wins and a US drug regulator approval post-market hours on Friday and over the weekend.

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders on Friday, September 4, said it has won an order worth ₹118 crore from the Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Co Ltd (MSETCL).

The order is for the supply, installation and commissioning of AI-based comprehensive infrasecure project of five substations, the company said. The same is to be completed in 24 months.

Shares of Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders ended the previous session 0.4% higher at ₹2,484 apiece. The stock has declined 1.2% in the past month and is up 0.3% this year, so far.

Texmaco Rail and Engineering

Texmaco Rail and Engineering on Saturday, September 5, said it has won two orders, cumulatively worth ₹131.36 crore.

The first order is worth ₹24.48 crore from the Transport Corporation of India Ltd. for the manufacture supply and commissioning of one rake of ACT-1 wagon with one BVCM wagon. The same is to be completed within 16 weeks from the date of letter of intent, it said.

The second order, worth ₹106.88 crore, is from Touax Texmaco Railcar Leasing Private Ltd. for the manufacture and supply of four rakes of BFNS22.9 wagons with four BVCM wagons. The same is to be completed by May 26, 2027, the company said.

It also mentioned that it is one of the promoters of Touax Texmaco Railcare Leasing Private Ltd and there is no conflict of interest arising out of the said transaction. It added that the contract does fall under related party transactions and is done at an arm’s length basis.

Shares of Texmaco Rail and Engineering ended the previous session 1.9% higher at ₹115.75 apiece. The stock has gained 6.4% in the past month but is down 15.3% this year, so far.

RVNL

Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) on Friday, September 4, said it has received a letter of award (LoA) from SJVN Thermal Private Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SJVN Ltd, for an order worth ₹903 crore.

The order is for the construction of a permanent siding along with an an aerial connection via track from the plant boundary to Chausa and Pawani Kamarpur at Buxar in Bihar for the 1320 MW Buxar Thermal Power Project, it said.

RVNL shares ended the previous session 1.5% up at ₹212.49 apiece. The stock has declined 9% in the past month and 41.2% this year, so far.

Lupin

Lupin on Friday, September 4, said it received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for its abbreviated new drug application (ANDA) for Modafinil tablets USP in the 100 mg and 200 mg strengths.

The same is bioequivalent to the reference listed drug Provigil tablets of Nuvo Pharmaceuticals (Ireland) DAC and is indicated to improve wakefulness in adult patients with excessive sleepiness associated with narcolepsy, obstructive sleep apnea and shift work disorder, Lupin said.

The Modafinil tablets (RLD Provigil) had estimated annual sales of $70.7 million in the US, as per the IQVIA MAT July 2026, Lupin added.

Lupin shares ended the previous session 1.1% lower at ₹2,107.8 apiece. The stock has declined 10.8% in the past month and has therefore given up all the gains for the year to trade at the flat line.
