Directed by Savin SA, ‘Vaazha 2’ marked his debut in filmmaking and it gained attention for its relatable story and also for it’s stunning performances and music‘Vaazha II: Biopic of a Billion Bros’ is now set for its digital debut. The film hit the big screens on April 2 this year.

The film will be available for streaming on JioHotstar. The platform has officially confirmed the release date as May 8, 2026.Announcing the premiere, the team shared, “Bros are back by demand! Vaazha II: Biopic of a Billion Bros will be streaming from May 8.”
Box office performance update of ‘Vaazha 2’
Hashir’s film witnessed a slight drop in its box office collections on Day 28. It earned Rs 1.15 crore net in India on that day. This marks a 14.8 percent decline compared to the previous day’s Rs 1.35 crore, as reported by Sacnilk.Despite this dip, the film has maintained a strong overall performance. On Day 28, it was screened across 1,960 shows nationwide. It recorded an occupancy of 16.0 percent.

‘Vaazha 2’ has performed well at the box office since its release. The India gross collection has now reached Rs 144.89 crore. The total India net collection stands at Rs 125.40 crore so far.

Vipin Das’ film follows the journey of four friends—Hashir H, Alan Bin Siraj, Ajin Joy, and Vinayak V. They are often seen as failures by their families and society. The movie is relatable to majority of the Gen Z audiences and also for those who go abroad to have a better life and end up facing several challenges.Writer Vipin Das has also confirmed the next part in the franchise. The third installment will be titled ‘Vaazha III: Biopic of a Billion Girls’.
