Shares of Cyient Ltd, a global Intelligent Engineering Solutions company, might remain in focus in the upcoming days as the company has announced major corporate actions today, April 14. Shares of Cyient, a constituent of BSE 500, ended at Rs 896.50, down Rs 13.10 or 1.44 per cent from the previous close of Rs 909.60, on Monday.
Cyient (formerly Infotech Enterprises Limited) is an Indian multinational technology company that is focused on engineering, manufacturing, data analytics, and networks and operations. Infotech Enterprises Ltd. was established in 1991 in Hyderabad.
In an exchange filing today, engineering service company Cyient Ltd informed the bourses that the meeting of the Board of Directors of the company is scheduled on Thursday, April 23, 2026, to consider and approve audited financial results of the company for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2026.
Apart from the quarterly earnings report, the company said in the board meeting scheduled on April 23, 2026, might also recommend final dividend.
“Pursuant to Regulation 29(1) of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we hereby inform you that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the company is scheduled to be held on Thursday, 23 April 2026, inter alia to: i. Approve and take on record the audited financial results of the Company under Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) for the quarter and year ended 31 March 2026; ii. Approve and take on record the audited consolidated financial results of the Company and its subsidiaries under Ind AS for the quarter and year ended 31 March 2026,” the IT services company said in the filing.
Furthermore, Cyient also informed that the meeting of the board of directors fixed on Thursday, April 23, 2026, will likely consider the proposal for the buyback of equity shares.
“Consider and approve a proposal for the buyback of equity shares of the Company, subject to obtaining all necessary statutory and regulatory approvals, and to authorise all actions, matters, and things incidental, ancillary, or consequential thereto,” it added.
Cyient has been giving consistent dividend to its shareholders. The company gave dividend twice in 2025 – Rs 16 in October while Rs 12 in July. In 2024, the company gave cash rewards in two difference occasions – Rs 12 in November and Rs 18 in June, respectively.
Cyient Q3 results 2026 performance
Cyient reported a 24.9 per cent decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 91.8 crore for October-December quarter FY26, primarily due to a one-time provision on the back of new Labour Codes. The company had posted a net profit (attributable to the shareholders of the company) of Rs 122.3 crore in the year-ago period.
The company’s revenue from operations slipped 4 per cent to Rs 1,848.5 crore in Q3 FY26, as compared to Rs 1,926.4 crore in Q3 FY25.
On a quarter-on-quarter basis, profit fell 28 per cent while revenue increased 3.7 per cent. The company accounted for a one-time provision of Rs 42.3 crore during the quarter under review for the implementation of the new Labour Codes.
