The company provides services including visa and passport processing, consular services, biometrics, attestation and government-to-citizen services.
It operates in more than 100 countries and works with over 46 client governments, according to the company.
BLS said it currently supports more than 1,000 government-to-citizen services across various government departments and projects. In India, it operates Aadhaar Seva Kendras under a contract with the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).
The company has also expanded its technology operations, including the use of artificial intelligence and automation in its service delivery, it said.
BLS said its operations are supported by CMMI Level 5 certification for development, services and security, along with ISO certifications covering quality management, information security and environmental management.
The company has more than 50,000 centres globally and over 60,000 employees and associates, according to its latest disclosures.Shikhar Aggarwal, Joint Managing Director of BLS International, said the company would continue to focus on technology and operational processes as the scale of its government and citizen-service operations increases.
The 500 million applications milestone covers the company’s visa, consular and citizen-services operations globally.
