New India Assurance, IFCI surge; PB Fintech, Zensar slump at Nifty 500 market open


New India Assurance Company, IFCI and Syrma SGS Technology were among the stocks that moved the Nifty 500 higher at market open on Thursday, September 17, while PB Fintech, Zensar Technologies and Aditya Infotech slipped lower.

Top gainers at market open

New India Assurance shares surged over 8.5% at market open. The company’s shares had risen over 25% since the beginning of the year and more than 1% in the past year. The stock was at a 24.4% decline from its 52-week high of ₹242.60 and 66.7% away from hitting its 52-week low of ₹116.97. Over 8.1 lakh shares of the company were traded on the stock market at 0.41 times the stock’s 10-day average.

IFCI shares surged over 7% at market open. The company’s shares had risen more than 51% since the beginning of the year and more than 35% in the past year. The stock was at a 33.6% decline from its 52-week high of ₹107.50 and 73.9% away from hitting its 52-week low of ₹46.23. Over 60 lakh shares of the company were traded at 0.33 times the stock’s 10-day average.

Syrma SGS Technologies shares rose over 7% at market open. The company’s shares had risen almost 125% since the beginning of the year and more than 102% in the past year. The stock was at a 2.3% decline from its 52-week high of ₹1,660. Over 1.4 lakh shares of the company were traded at 0.61 times the stock’s 10-day average.

Top losers at market open

PB Fintech shares slumped up to 6% at market open. The company’s shares had fallen over 5% since the beginning of the year and 4% in the past year. The stock was at a 14% decline from its 52-week high of ₹1,964.20 and 26.2% away from hitting its 52-week low of ₹1,364. Over 1.2 lakh shares of the company were traded at 1.33 times the stock’s 10-day average.

Zensar Technologies shares fell up to 4% at market open. The company’s shares had fallen over 38% since the beginning of the year and over 48% in the past year. The stock was 3.5% away from hitting its 52-week low of ₹421. Over 7 lakh shares of the company were traded at 0.12 times the stock’s 10-day average.

Aditya Infotech shares fell up to 3% at market open. The company’s shares had risen more than 127% since the beginning of the year and more than 136% in the past year. The stock was at an 18.3% decline from its 52-week high of ₹4,094.
