Turtlemint Q1 loss narrows to ₹38 crore as revenue jumps 40%


Turtlemint Fintech Solutions reported a consolidated net loss of ₹38 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, narrowing from a loss of ₹47 crore in the year-ago period.

Revenue from operations rose 40% year-on-year to ₹294 crore in the first quarter of FY27, compared with ₹210 crore in the same quarter last year.

Adjusted EBITDA loss stood at ₹26 crore, compared with an EBITDA loss of ₹42 crore in Q1 FY26. Adjusted EBITDA as a percentage of revenue improved to -9% in Q1 FY27 from -20% in the year-ago quarter.

The company reported platform premium growth of 49.8% year-on-year to ₹1,205 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with ₹804 crore in Q1 FY26. Service EBITDA increased 89% year-on-year to ₹39 crore from ₹21 crore.

Turtlemint said operating leverage continued to improve, with corporate overheads as a percentage of revenue declining to 22% in Q1 FY27 from 30% in Q1 FY26. Renewal revenue grew 66% during the quarter.

The company operates a technology platform for distributing financial products, including insurance, loans, mutual funds and credit cards, through its subsidiaries. It has a network of more than 691,000 digital partners.

Turtlemint Insurance Brokers, a subsidiary, had over 550,000 registered Point of Sale Persons across more than 19,000 pincodes as of June 30, 2026. The company said it has facilitated the sale of more than 30 million insurance policies across health, life, motor and business insurance, in partnership with 46 insurers.Turtlemint Fintech Solutions shares closed at ₹139 on the NSE on August 14, down ₹2.25 or 1.59%.
