In an exchange filing on Tuesday, July 14, the company said it will serve as a strategic manufacturing partner for Formycon, providing integrated drug substance (DS) and drug product (DP) manufacturing from its biologics facility in Bengaluru.
The partnership combines Formycon’s biosimilar development capabilities with OneSource’s end-to-end biologics manufacturing platform to support Formycon’s global biosimilar pipeline.
OneSource said the collaboration is aimed at advancing global access to biosimilars through scalable, high-quality and cost-efficient manufacturing.

Formycon Chief Executive Officer Stefan Glombitza said the partnership strengthens the company’s manufacturing network as part of its FYB4Growth strategy.
“Reliable, scalable and cost-efficient manufacturing is a cornerstone of our FYB4Growth strategy. By adding OneSource to our network of strategic manufacturing partners, we are further strengthening our supply capabilities with a partner that meets our unwavering commitment to high standards of quality, operational excellence and cost-efficiency,” Glombitza said.
OneSource said it operates an integrated biologics platform spanning cell-line development through commercial fill-finish and has five manufacturing facilities approved by global regulators, including the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the European Medicines Agency (EMA).
Munich-headquartered Formycon develops and commercialises biosimilars globally and currently has three marketed biosimilars, with four additional candidates under development.
Shares of OneSource Pharma fell sharply from the day’s highs following the announcement and were trading at ₹1,652.30 as of 10.41 am, down 1.24%. The stock has declined nearly 8% so far this year and almost 18% over the last 12 months.
